Italon Open Day 2022 in Pskov
On April 19th, the Italon Experience mono brand showroom in Pskov hosted a presentation of the Italon 2022 new collection Metropolis.
Representatives of the Italon factory in the North-West Federal District Sergey Benchuk and marketing department specialist Maria Tokareva presented a range of porcelain tiles and decors from the new series in the pleasant atmosphere of the new showroom and in the familiar company of city professionals: designers, architects and tile layers. While showing the samples on the exhibition stand, Maria focused on the nuances of the graphics of each color and spoke about the important parameters of the material that should be taken into account at the stage of development and implementation of the project.
Seven flawless stones, decors and three colors of Murano glass effect porcelain stoneware from the new Metropolis collection made an impression and won the hearts of the guests.
The second part of the presentation was no less informative and was devoted to the advantages of porcelain stoneware, which allow you to design without restrictions. It is no coincidence that it is called the ideal finishing material.
The aesthetics inherent from natural materials and the high technical characteristics of porcelain stoneware are embodied in the current Italon collections, which provide the opportunity to design both interiors and exteriors.
During the presentation, the focus was on the exposition with outdoor thickened porcelain stoneware Italon X2. They have demonstrated different ways of laying this material: on grass, on gravel, on supports and on screed.
Undoubtedly, now would be the best time to improve the outside area: lay garden paths, fix terraces and prepare the pool for the summer season. All this is possible with the range of Italon X2 anti-slip outdoor tiles.
Only two months have passed since the opening of the Italon Experience showroom in Pskov, but local designers have already appreciated how convenient it has become to select materials for the project, meet with customers to show them how tile looks in the interior and just visit the showroom in search of ideas and inspiration.
At the end of the presentation, in a friendly atmosphere, designers and craftsmen shared stories “from construction sites”, photos of completed projects and discussed the possibilities of unconventional use of porcelain stoneware in interiors. For example, how to make a maxi-format kitchen countertop, embed a bathroom sink into a porcelain stoneware slab, or how to mount a porcelain stoneware element on an installation.
