Italon Open Day 2022 in Pyatigorsk

On May 19th, Pyatigorsk hosted an important event for the city’s designers: as part of the unique Italon Open Days presentation series, which runs from April to June in Italon Experience showrooms throughout Russia, industry professionals were introduced to the new product 2022 Metropolis collection.

 

The Italon Experience Showroom in Pyatigorsk, located at Ermolova street 14, was recently renovated and held the presentation of the new Metropolis collection in all its glory showing original interior solutions as featured in the catalog. So, anyone who is interested in the new product after browsing the website or the pages of the catalog can see the collection live in the showroom and study its features.

 

Designers immediately noticed this new approach to presenting the material and really appreciated it. The guests paid special attention to the incredible detail of graphics for each of the 7 stone effect options, which are presented in the Metropolis collection.

 

Color nuances, veins and other distinctive features of the material make porcelain stoneware indistinguishable from the original natural prototypes. The part of the presentation devoted to the place of porcelain stoneware in modern design and its key advantages in comparison with natural materials, which determine the growing demand for it around the world and in Russia, started a passionate and interesting discussion.

Designers were able to look at the technical characteristics that modern finishing materials should have from a different angle, so that working with them brings pleasure, and the result may last for many years.

The hosts of the evening were Pavel Gorlov, regional representative in the North Caucasus Federal District, and Sergey Dyakonov, head of the key account department, who, after the official part, joined a friendly exchange of views on the prospects for the development of the finishing materials market and answered questions from guests about Italon products.
