Vincitore del concorso “Progetto Del Mese” — Marzo 2024
We’re excited to announce the March 2024 winner of our designers’ contest, Project of the Month. Over half of your votes went to Anastasia Galeznik from The Key studio. She submitted a country house bathroom project imbued with the ambiance of the Eternum collection. One voter’s comment perfectly captures the winning project’s essence: “An interior you can’t take your eyes off of.” Every detail here has been meticulously planned: textures, colors, lighting, furniture, and decor all come together to create a remarkable atmosphere that reflects the client’s personality.
We thank the gifted designers for their captivating projects and all of you for voting!

Interview with the winner
Each of your projects could grace the cover of any top interior design magazine. Your passion and attention to detail are truly inspiring! Could you please share some tips for those starting home improvement on how to personalize their designs and showcase their unique style?
Be brave! Listen to your instincts and weave your personal story into your home. To make the space truly your own, consider delving into your preferences and writing down what you truly like and dislike. Fortunately, we have plenty of online tools for that today. Remember, your interior is a reflection of yourself and your personality. Next, tune into yourself and remember what brings you joy. Don’t blindly follow some trend that your friend might fancy. For example, a painting above your couch can be a symbol of your own early years in the countryside rather than someone else’s story.
Moreover, you can build a whole narrative around this memory and portray it in the accent walls. One of them might evoke the scent of freshly cut grass, while the creamy background walls will remind of fragrant fresh milk. Enhancing a solid interior on your own is easier with decor: go for patterned pillows, rugs, linen-textured curtains, anything you enjoy. Likewise, include elements from your hobby or memorable trip. Look at photos and reflect their colors and textures in your decor.
How does one add color to a room? What colors should one consider to help the design stand the test of time?
Start by using colors carefully: opt for natural shades as accents rather than primary colors. Natural shades are timeless and will never go out of style. They’re as classic as it gets. Green, terracotta, and blue shades are perfect if your goal is to enliven a gray-beige space and truly make an impact.
What aspects of products by Italon appeal to you as a professional? What are the key features you look for in materials?
Italon’s products attract me with their diverse textures and a wide range of sizes. I appreciate the versatility of their tiles, which seamlessly blend into any design style, be it Art Deco, Japandi, or anything in-between.
