Realized #Italon Project – One-Bedroom Apartment in Minimalist Style

The interior of this functional one-bedroom apartment in Moscow was created for a young man who is often away from home due to work. Heightened free space, minimum amount of furniture and decors, calm gray colors: this was the project’s outline for the designers from the Flatforfox Design studio.

At first glance, everything is simple and clear, but creating an efficient composition is always difficult. In minimalist interiors, the main role is played by proportions, precise shapes and light.

Let us introduce you to the premises of the apartment and show you how the wishes of the customer were implemented.

The kitchen can look wholesome and harmonious even if it is not built up all the way to the ceiling if all details are taken into account beforehand. Concrete-effect porcelain stoneware, Millennium Silver 60×60 with a matt finish, plays an important role in tying the place together. The bathroom is finished with slate effect tiles from the Materia collection in two colors, Carbonio and Titanio.

The large format 60×120 slab in a honed satin finish perfectly recreates the adamant texture of stone, embodied in porcelain stoneware.

To make the gray interior cozier, wood-effect tiles from the Element Wood collection in a warm shade, Olmo 20×120 with a matt finish, were used.

The balcony follows the style of the entire apartment, with the flooring featuring porcelain stoneware Materia Titanio 60×60 with a honed satin finish. Using all the knowledge, experience and high-quality materials, the designers accomplished a functional and comfortable design with minimalist taste.
