Realized project #italon – An elegance terrace BMW
The material for the terrace must be not only aesthetically beautiful, but also functional, because it is outside and therefore exposed to weather conditions. Designer Tatyana Kharchenko has decorated two terraces of the BMW Group Russia with the thickened porcelain stoneware Italon X2.
The thickened porcelain stoneware tiles Italon X2 with the non-slip surface is an ideal choice for terraces, as this material has been created specifically for the difficult conditions climatic conditions of Russia and therefore it does not lose its aesthetic characteristics even after many years of use.
Designer Tatiana describes her project as follows: “In my opinion, the most interesting thing in this project is the flooring. I had to consider in my project really strict demands of the building management company. To decorate the terraces I could not make any changes in a building construct.
It was necessary to level the flooring with minimal works and the laying material had to be non-combustible. And in this case Italon X2 porcelain stoneware was the perfect choice. With Italon X2 we have managed to align all the differences in the old flooring up to 2 cm and to create a perfect pavement for the terrace.
In addition, my clients had asked to create a surface where girls would not ruin their heels, which happens very often with certain types of terrace materials, for example, construction timber.
In general, the perfect grey of Contempora Carbon X2 with an elegant texture and that corresponds perfectly to the concept of the company was immediately confirmed by the clients and laid on the floor (200 square meters) in one night ”
