Guest Bathroom: Fresh Ideas from Instagram Designers

Having a guest bathroom is a practical and convenient modern trend, especially for large families and welcoming hosts, which is why it’s more and more common to find one in apartments as well as country cottages. The bathroom can be quite small, but it must be functional and have all the necessities: high-quality compact plumbing, a mirror and a shower. In this article, we’ve collected 8 fresh ideas from instagram designers for a neat guest bathroom.

BLACK GUEST BATHROOM WITH BRIGHT SINK

The guest bathroom is usually a space where the most daring design solutions are implemented.

That’s how Sahara Noir 60×120 porcelain stoneware with honed finishing from the Charme Deluxe series ended up on the walls of this project by @artalekseev.design.

The mix of deep black shades and striking geometric patterns of contrasting veins is a unique choice that will make everyone fall in love with this guest bathroom at first sight.

The light colored wash basin with open shelves serves as a bright accent, truly making the luxurious black marble effect veins stand out even more.

A minimalistic approach also helped shift the focus on the tiles.

“FANTASTIC” GUEST BATHROOM

It often happens that a guest bathroom, a guest room or just a guest sofa turns out to be the most loved, comfortable and frequently used by apartment owners.

@design_danilova chose a classic combination of materials for her guest bathroom: marble and wood.

A timeless choice bound to never go out of style and widely applicable to projects of any room and size.

Statuario Fantastico 80×80 porcelain stoneware from Charme Deluxe served as a spectacular design element. Dynamic marble veins against a white background will surely impress guests while also making this space feel welcoming and comfortable for everyday use.

DARK BUT COZY GUEST BATHROOM

“Oftentimes, our customers ask us to make the guest bathroom look radically different from the main one. They express their most daring ideas when it comes to it, in order to satisfy their desire for something extraordinary, unusual and bright, allowing creative liberty.” – Says the authors of the project from @design_ekb_paradis studio.

Thanks to wood-effect porcelain stoneware, Loft Honey 20 × 160 with matt finishing, the interior design for this bathroom is dark, yet very cozy.

Wood effect tiles have the unique ability to warm up the space, recreating the beauty of natural wood down to the smallest detail, combined to the highest technical characteristics of porcelain stoneware.

The walls are covered with moisture-resistant plaster, which might be replaced, for example, by gray concrete tiles from Millenium Black, Terraviva Dark or Urban Petrol.

SMALL BUT EFFICIENT GUEST BATHROOM

When designing a small guest bathroom, it is paramount to create an efficient and convenient space. Designer @donskovadesign, had this in mind while working on her project, giving life to a highly comfortable and pleasant environment.

To decorate the bathroom, she used two gray shades in the 60×120 format – dark Antracite and light Imperiale – from the Charme Evo collection of marble effect tiles. These colors blend flawlessly, truly complementing each other.

Each room of the apartment is in a shade of blue, and the guest bathroom is no exception, with the vanity and cabinets displaying a noble choice of blue to bring a special charm and sophisticated touch to the interior.

Despite the small size, the bathroom has everything you need for the convenience of your guests, plus a large mirror that helps visually expand the space.

GUEST BATHROOM WITH BOLD DESIGN

Owners are not afraid to experiment and apply non-standard solutions and bold ideas to the design of guest bathrooms: spectacular tiles, original plumbing and furniture, unusual combinations of colors… all these are intended not only to surprise guests, but to delight the owners themselves.

The project of designer @virginiazykova has all of the above! Large-format marble-effect porcelain stoneware, Statuario Fantastico and Sahara Noir 80×160 with natural finishing from the new Charme Deluxe collection, decorating the floor and walls of this small but functional bathroom.

Black faucets emphasize the contrasting style, while the unique shape of the lamp gives a touch of lightheartedness.

MARBLE EFFECT GUEST BATHROOM

Unlike all previous projects, the guest bathroom by @sova_interiors design studio was made in the same style as the main bathroom.

White marble effect tiles with gray veins: a timeless classic! The bathroom walls were decorated with Charme Evo Statuario marble tiles 60×120 with glossy lux finishing, complemented by furniture in a beige shade and a massive cornice that runs through all the rooms, serving as an element of continuity throughout the apartment.

The entire wall was equipped with a storage system and supplemented with a cabinet above the fixtures. The design is laconic and comfortable, but at the same time very functional, and the abundance of white visually expands the small space. Using light colors definitely helps make cozy rooms feel more spacious.

COZY GRAY GUEST BATHROOM

Designers from @inteeerior have created a guest bathroom with a fashionable semicircular mirror and an original mix of wood and concrete, proving that gray interiors can be as exciting as colored ones.

The multi-format Maison Brandy wood effect porcelain stoneware was complemented by the bold Millennium Black concrete effect tiles. Concrete effect tiles present unique patterns, as well as unusual eye-catching textures. Wood effect tiles, on the other hand, provide a comforting cozy feeling.

All in all, we’re looking at a successful combination of textures and materials, creating a contemporary space where guests will surely feel at home.

GUEST BATHROOM IN ECO-STYLE

A stunning guest bathroom with an area of just 1.9 square meters displaying natural shades to help your guests relax.

Using a variety of formats from different collections can help give life to interesting design solutions in small spaces!

For this project, @interior_ufa combined maple effect Element Wood Acero tiles, 20×120 and 60×120, with Millennium Silver concrete effect tiles, 60×120 with matt finishing.

Wood effect tiles provide warmth to the bathroom and gently blend with concrete effect surfaces for stunning results.

The atmosphere is complemented by green cabinets and ornamental plants, adding to the eco theme chosen.

It is important to remember that a guest bathroom can be decorated according to any style, unleashing your imagination to follow the general theme of the apartment, or even create a bright and unusual contrast. Always prioritize comfort and convenience, avoiding the overload of excessive details and items.
