New 120×120 format

We enjoy being the trendsetters with our unique materials, bold combinations, and meticulous attention to detail — all hallmarks of Italon’s signature style. Surveying the construction and finishing materials market, we have noticed a growing interest in larger product formats over the past six years.

Sizes like 60×60 cm and 60×120 cm have now become the norm. Larger maxi-formats, over two meters in size, are becoming more common in finishing, but their installation demands great effort, complex techniques, special equipment, and expertise.

The 80×80 cm and 80×160 cm formats offer a great visual impact, showcase the material’s potential well, and are easier to install than maxi formats, which makes them a worthy alternative. We have expanded this line of practical, highly elegant formats by introducing a new one: 120×120 cm! This size is available not only in the new Spring 2024 Stellaris series but also in our bestsellers: Millennium, Continuum, and Metropolis.

Which collections feature 120×120 large-format porcelain stoneware?

Stellaris: Statuario White, Calacatta Gold, and Tuscania Gray

Continuum: Polar, Silver, and Petrol

Metropolis: Royal Ivory, Absolute Silver, and Imperial Black

Millennium: Pure, Silver, Iron, and Black

All of them are available exclusively with a natural surface and 9 mm thickness.

What are the new format’s advantages?

  1. It showcases the material’s graphics better. Materials like concrete, marble, and stone feel much more striking with a larger tile surface.
  2. It’s a very popular format in the ceramics market, mirroring the ever-changing architectural trends.
  3. The large format, coupled with minimal joints (as low as 1.5 mm), visually expands the space and creates a more coherent look.
  4. This format also makes tile installation quicker.
  5. Joints tend to attract dirt and are more challenging to keep clean, so with fewer of them, the tiled surface looks tidier.

The new 120×120 cm format is a unique tool for implementing your stylish, contemporary projects.
