After all, not everyone knows how much the ceramic industry has evolved over the recent decades. Small fragments (tiles) have been replaced with elaborate series that perfectly emulate the natural texture of stone, wood, marble, and other finishing materials.
Tile sizes available for designing a country house interior range from the smallest (7.5×30 cm and 30×30 cm) to really large(120×278 cm) and from the classic 9 mm thickness to the monumental and durable 20 mm-thick Italon X2 tiles. - Strength characteristics. The Italon X2 line boasts an increased thickness of 20 mm, which makes it three times stronger than standard tiles. The maximum static load on the center of a single tile exceeds 1 ton.
- Anti-slip surface. The X2 line has the maximum anti-slip rating of R13 and the basic rating of R11, which makes it a perfectly safe material and an excellent choice for terraces, entrances, pool areas, and walking paths.
- Resistance to UV radiation. Unlike other types of finishing materials, porcelain stoneware doesn’t fade and doesn’t change its appearance under UV light.

INSTALLATION OVER SUPPORTS
The most innovative method is to lay tiles on adjustable supports. It is perfect for terraces and other commercial areas, which require practical materials that are easy to use. The distance between the tiles and the floor allows you to place cables, pipes, and other engineering equipment directly under the porcelain stoneware and always have access to them. A VENTILATED FACADE
Italon X2 tiles can also be used on building facades. It is very practical: a porcelain stoneware facade protects the walls from the elements and retains its luster for many years thanks to the material’s durability.
